We are delighted to announce
that the lucky winner of #602 is
No 17 Diane.
Congratulations.
Diane created this beautiful
birthday card featuring a lovely portrait
style image as the focal point.
The image has been coloured using a
combination of Copic markers,
Prismacolor pencils, and pastels,
creating wonderful depth and
softness throughout the design.
The golden curls have been
carefully blended with the Copics and
enhanced with pencil detail to
give the hair movement and dimension.
Subtle shading with pencils and
pastels adds warmth and realism to
the skin tones, giving the
character a gentle lifelike appearance.
The red roses in the hair
provide a striking pop of colour that ties
beautifully with the bold red
decorative frame. Diane has framed the
image with an elegant die cut
panel which draws the eye directly to the
focal point, while the patterned
background paper complements the
design perfectly.
A beautifully balanced card that
showcases skilled colouring
techniques and thoughtful
layering.

 Our Top Three
In entry order:
No 10 Diane - It's your lucky
week
Diane has created a striking
birthday card featuring a beautifully
coloured wolf as the focal
point. The image has been coloured with
great attention to detail, using
careful layering and blending to build
up the texture of the fur and
give the wolf a realistic, lifelike
appearance.
The subtle tonal variations
throughout the greys and browns add
depth and dimension, while the
piercing blue eyes draw the viewer in
and create a strong focal point.
The soft background shading
enhances the image without
distracting from the main subject.
Diane has framed the artwork
with layered mats in coordinating tones,
which helps to define the image
and add structure to the design. The
birch style background paper
complements the woodland theme
perfectly, tying the whole card
together beautifully.
A stunning piece of colouring
with excellent detail and a well balanced
design.

cheerful birthday card featuring a
delightful baking themed image
as the focal point. The character has
been beautifully coloured with
alcohol markers, with smooth blending
used throughout the clothing and
cake to create depth and a polished
finish.
The warm tones in the cake and
the rich blues and reds in the outfit
give the design a bright,
celebratory feel. Careful shading adds
dimension to the image, while
the clean colouring keeps the overall
look crisp and playful.
Donna has used layered circular
die cuts to frame the image, adding
structure and drawing the eye to
the centre of the design. The doily

without overpowering the softness of
the design.
