✨Judith
Judith has created a beautifully elegant floral birthday design using a digital stamp as her focal image. The digi has been printed cleanly and coloured with layered alcohol marker blending, building depth gradually through soft tonal transitions in the petals and carefully placed shadowing.
The leaves show lovely variation in green shades, with darker tones worked into the base and along the veins to create structure and realism. The controlled blending gives the flowers a natural, dimensional look while keeping the overall feel light and fresh.
By printing the digital image large and allowing it to flow across the card front, Judith has created a striking composition without the need for heavy layering. The die cut sentiment panel softens the layout, and the dimensional butterfly embellishments add gentle lift and texture.
A beautiful example of confident digi colouring, careful shading, and clean, elegant design.
✨ Lisa

Lisa has created a fresh and modern birthday card using a digital stamp as her focal image. The digi has been coloured with alcohol markers, with smooth blending in the hair and skin tones and confident shading to give the seated figure depth and dimension. The warm orange top and bright yellow shoes add a lively pop of colour that ties beautifully into the background papers.
The circular layered design creates a strong focal point, with soft peach scalloped edging adding definition and balance. The patterned paper featuring soft, watercolour style circles brings movement and interest without overwhelming the central image.
Raised circular embellishments add dimension and texture, while the clean, layered sentiment panels give the design a crisp, contemporary finish. A lovely example of effective digi colouring, thoughtful colour coordination, and well balanced layering.
✨ Tinz
Image:
Tinz has created a beautifully artistic birthday design using a digital stamp as the focal image. The wine bottle, glass, and grapes have been coloured with alcohol markers, with soft blending and subtle shading to give the elements shape and realism. The gentle tonal variation in the bottle and glass adds depth, while the grapes are carefully detailed to create dimension.
The background features a loose, mixed media style effect, with blended washes of warm orange and soft green adding texture and atmosphere behind the image. This painterly approach gives the piece a relaxed, contemporary feel. The addition of a small stamped sentiment keeps the design clean, while the bold red heart embellishment adds a pop of colour and draws the eye. The faux spiral binding detail along the edge introduces a creative, notebook inspired finish, making this a stylish and slightly playful birthday creation.✨ Caroline L
Image: Lily jug
Caroline has created a beautiful standalone piece using a floral digital stamp, coloured with alcohol markers to achieve soft, painterly blending throughout the lilies. The petals show careful layering of warm coral and rose tones, with deeper shading towards the centres to create natural depth and movement.
The stamens are delicately highlighted, adding contrast and fine detail, while the leaves are blended in graduated greens to give subtle dimension without overwhelming the composition. The rich blue jug provides a bold complementary contrast to the warm florals, grounding the arrangement and drawing the eye inward.
The clean white background keeps the focus entirely on the colouring, allowing the depth, tone variation, and smooth blending to shine. A lovely example of controlled marker work and confident colour pairing in a finished artwork rather than a card design.
✨ Sharon
Image: Flower bouquet
Sharon has created a bold and vibrant birthday card using a beautiful floral digital stamp as her focal point. The digi image has been coloured with alcohol markers, showcasing confident blending and rich, saturated tones across the bouquet. Each flower is carefully shaded to add depth and dimension, while the varied colour palette brings energy and celebration to the design.
The green textured cardstock layers frame the image perfectly, and the scalloped edges add softness and interest. The addition of metallic gold matting introduces warmth and a touch of elegance, which complements the gold script sentiments beautifully.
The layered “Happy Birthday” die cut sentiment creates strong visual impact, drawing the eye across the card, while the small gem embellishments add sparkle without overwhelming the focal image.
A striking example of vibrant digi colouring, thoughtful layering, and elegant finishing touches that make this birthday design truly stand out.
✨ Clare

Clare has created a bright and contemporary birthday card using a digital stamp as her focal image. The digi has been printed cleanly and coloured with alcohol markers, with smooth blending in the hair and skin tones to create a natural finish. Subtle shading in the clothing adds depth while keeping the overall look fresh and uncluttered.
The musical notes flowing from the headphones reinforce the theme beautifully and add a sense of movement to the design. Clare has used layered matting in bold blue tones to frame the focal panel, creating strong contrast and definition against the white space.
The patterned background paper featuring musical elements ties everything together cohesively. The vertical “Happy Birthday” lettering adds a modern layout twist, balancing the horizontal image panel, while the gem embellishments introduce a touch of dimension and sparkle.
A lovely example of clean digi colouring, thoughtful layering, and a well balanced themed design.
